HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including any legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution requirements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the information and why we hold it. For example, correspondence may be retained while an enquiry or relationship remains relevant, while information required for accounting or legal purposes may need to be kept for longer.
Where information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise or otherwise dispose of it appropriately.
This is something the existing policy completely misses: a privacy notice needs to state retention periods or the criteria used to determine them. ICO
KEEPING YOUR INFORMATION SECURE
We take reasonable organisational and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information we handle and the services we provide.
However, no website, online service or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
I prefer this to the old claim about information being kept on our own “computer servers,” because that may simply be false when Hostinger and other cloud services actually hold the data.

Alter Aspect is not designed specifically as a service for children and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through the website.
